Scent Of A Women

Frank, Al Pacino, is a retired man who was previous in the US Army. He is blind and has very little family and friends due to his use of language and the way he degrades other characters and treats others with very little respect. Charlie, a young boy awaiting to go university dicusses with Frank's niece to look after Frank during the thanksgiving period. We then see the growth of Frank as a character, as he becomes harder to handle, and reveals to Charlie he plans to commit suicide. Charlie manages to stop Frank and to repay him Frank speecks on Charlie's behalf at his school, as he is in trouble for an act he didn't commit, as he will not tell the headmaster who commited the crime, Frank steps in. And deliviers one of the best monologues slash speeches in cinema history.
